Lelia Olivia Smith is a dynamic young mentor, athlete and scholar.

Lelia is sixteen years old and a junior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. She excels in the Science and Technology program. She was recognized as a delegate for Eleanor Roosevelt High School and received the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence. She also is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. She is currently captain of the Varsity Cheerleading team and a member of the Black Student Union.

Lelia is an active member of the Prince George's County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She serves in leadership roles in the Senior Teen age group. She was Service Co-Chair for the 2017-2018 program year and is currently serving as Recording Secretary for the 2018-2019 program year. In addition, Lelia is a member of the Youth Greeter's Ministry at Reid Temple A.M.E. North.

Lelia aspires to attend Spelman College and choose a career where she can impact the lives of children.
